Top 3 Smartphones of Mobile World Congress 2016, so far

Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona, Spain; became the battle ground for the smartphone manufacturers, from those small company to those multinational and famous. To the smartphone with big display to small display and with high price smartphones to those cheap ones. Smartphone makers present their latest creation with a bang on the people around, to show their edge that their smartphone have than the others.

In order to find those most exciting, most interesting and most stunning smartphones, the visitor needs to navigate the vast halls and booth house in the capacious Fira Gran Via in the middle of Barcelona.

Here are the list of Smartphones that currently stood out in Mobile World Congress 2016:

1.       Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge

 The South Korean Tech giant, Samsung consider to be the biggest smartphone maker in the word and at the Mobile World Congress 2016, they made sure that everyone stills knows it. At the event they have a big booth with unending billboards, where showing that Samsung still the king in smartphone making. With the released of their 2 new smartphone, Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge that have an improvement from the last flagship, with powerful specs, better camera, and add new features on it, surely this smartphone became a contender as the #1 smartphone in 2016. Also, they increased the battery of Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, which is consider to be problem in last year’s Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.

2.       LG G5

LG is a company that in the recent years, falls behind on Samsung and Apple, or other company but in Mobile World Congress 2016, they show that still they could other smartphone makers. They unveiled their latest flagship smartphone, the LG G5 with “Expansion Slot”. This is first time where you can remove or add other modules for the smartphone. This feature is the edge by LG G5 to the other flagship smartphone. Also, in terms of the specs, design and camera they are not behind.

3.       Sony Xperia X series

Sony did not unveil their new flagship smartphone, the Xperia Z6 at Mobile World Congress but instead they launch a new variant of their Xperia series. Sony unveiled not one but three smartphone, the X, XA and X Performance. Considering that this smartphone are on just a mid-range price, but still this smartphone have premium build on it, with thin bezel and full metal with glass body. They emphasize also that this new Xperia X series will have better camera performance. Also, a much improved battery on this mid-range smartphones.

Here is my top 3 smartphone that so far, captures many eyes at the Mobile World Congress. But still this is not the final list. I will update this list after the event ended. Still, Xiaomi did not unveil their new flagship smartphone yet, which could made in this list.
