GM-Bot Malware: The parent of "MAZAR BOT" Malware, that currently infecting Android device


Recently, an Android malware named “Mazar Bot” just terrorizing the world of smartphone, that are Android-base. This malware will infected your smartphone via just a simple SMS message. Once it controls the whole smartphone it will them wipe or hack your entire data. But, an Android smartphone will Russian Language will not affected on this.

In just few hours ago, another Android Malware has just been trace by a team from IBM X-Force, which currently tracking the recent malware “Mazar Bot”. According to them, this malwares originates since 2014, which they have same families of malware which they continue to track down.
The malware is called “GM-Bot”, which emerged from a Russian-speaking cybercrime underground forums, which are being sold for just €450 or $500 only. Also, this is not the only malware being sold. they consider it as parent malware of "MAZAR BOT" Malware.

According to IBM, the maker of this malware decides to abandon the current version and chose to make a new one, but before he did that, he just sell the recent version (Mazar Bot) to another hacker.
The MAZAR BOT Malware code leaked out when the administrator of the underground hacking purchased to the new owner, and make it as a reward for the users that are currently registered to his own website.

The source code was a pass-word protected archive, and those who got it as a reward, May simply the PM the forum admin and ask about the password. But, the problem is that many user, starts to share the password and it results to, all members on that particular forum got the password of MAZAR BOT.

If this things get ugly, the whole Android system, will be in disaster and it will greatly big problem for the creature of Android OS. This will be a lesson for the creature of Android, that how vulnerable their OS are.


Hopefully, an security update will be release sooner to prevent more damage in Android community.
