Sony is best known for their excellent camera, but also they
made some excellent smartphone, like the Xperia Z series. But this point, Sony
are more famous on the components of other device or smartphones than their own
smartphone. The exact example of this components, is an image sensor, we know
that it produce really good image, this image sensor can found on those Apple
device, Huawei smartphone and more recent rumors tells that Samsung have this
sensor on their device.
Mobile World Congress 2016, is just few day from now, and Sony
will release a new Exmor RS, the IMX318, also they will release new device on
the upcoming years. This upcoming sensor is a 1 or 2.6 inch stacked CMOS that
can produce a maximum resolution equal to 22.5-megapixel and the hybrid
autofocus can focus in just little as 0.03 seconds. The sensor itself is smaller
than its predecessor, but it includes a three-axis, electronic image stabilization
where in other IOS lenses will bulky.
Sony’s Xperia Z5 have IMX300 sensor, that where very close
to the upcoming sensor of Sony. The current Sony Xperia Z5 came with features
and make some good reason to be the best smartphone for taking photos that
currently available today. The current sensor of Sony Xperia Z5 have an
autofocus that is very quick and the low-lighting photography have result with
really good images. Sony thinks that that they will ship this upcoming sensor
