Mobile World Congress just kick
of today, many people attending the event from the press to the smartphone
manufacturers. Sony is one the company that are present on this event, and they
have also new smartphone on their arsenal. Sony took their booth to present their
new Xperia smartphone with X-series and a line connected lifestyle gadgets.
The new Xperia X-series are on
mid-range price, the X-series includes the X, the XA, and the flagship of
X-series is the Xperia X Performance.
This new Sony smartphones; the
Xperia X-series, more focuses on consumer’s side, where it includes camera and
battery. But this new smartphone of Sony, don’t have much yet about the
details, meanwhile, it features a design where it’s an evolution of Sony’s
design, which typically made of premium materials like a metal body and curved
display glass.
Today’s trend, camera is now more
important on how good the picture are, which it means that the goal now on the
smartphone manufacturers is make photo taking experience very satisfying. Yet Sony
have developed a predictive hybrid autofocus system that Sony ALPHA DSLR camera
technology currently have, this will make camera to track focus on
activity-filled scene.
For the specifications, not much
details yet about this smartphone, but the screen size of X and XA is just 5
inch. This new smartphone of Sone, the Xperia X will powered by Qualcomm
Snapdragon 650 processor, while the Xperia X Performance will have the more
powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. Sony’ presentation did not totally
preview the display size, type, resolution; camera resolution, weight and much
more.
The battery of this new
smartphone, the Xperia X-series will have a smart battery tech in form of Qnovo’s
Adaptive Charging, where it will smartly manage the battery heat and charging
to extend the lifespan of battery of the smartphone. Also, a 2-day battery life
for the new Xperia X-series, Sony claims.
The available colors of new Sony
Xperia X-series is rose gold, lime gold and black. This new smartphone will be
available globally this coming summer. But the price is not yet revealed.
