Smartphones are becoming a more important aspect of our
life, and so its security. The more sophisticated the security of that
smartphone the better, because in smartphones we almost put all personal data,
this includes banks accounts, our finger print data, and other important data
related to our identity. If those smartphones with weak security features are
being stolen, your whole personal data will gone also or even your identity. But,
there is good thing on smartphones, many company are providing security
managers to ensure that data stored in smartphones will not be easily accessible.
In the news recently, HTC have Keeper to provide a security
manager or app for their current smartphones and those upcoming. Keeper is very
popular in this aspect and have superior security offered in apps, as well as
features being integrated to them and other leading OEMS manufacturers. Also,
Keeper will help those HTC owners on protecting their password and other
important information, as well the ability to choose on free and premium
version of the app. The apps feature includes a user interface and can create
strong password, as well an autofill login credentials, which we can see at
browsers today. In the login screen, the use will be able to sign-up, and
manage passwords, including important credentials.
According to Darren Guccione (Keeper Security CEO and
Co-Founder) “Smartphones are the unified devices for online access.
Convenience, security and privacy are all major concerns for mobile users. With
Keeper, HTC customers can access their apps, sites and private information
quickly and at the same time, feel safe knowing their passwords, photos and
private information are secure in their Keeper vault”.
But HTC don’t have the list yet of their smartphones, to
have this app, maybe the first to have this is their upcoming flagship
smartphone.
