Xiaomi Mi5 will have Windows 10 variant according to the rumor; and Xiaomi confirm that Mi5 will not have Quad HD display

Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship smartphone, the Mi5 is one of the most anticipated smartphone to be unveil in MWC 2016, in Barcelona held few weeks from now. But the company may offer another variant of this smartphone that will make all Windows fans happy.

According to the new report, the upcoming flagship of Xiaomi the Mi 5 will have Windows 10 variant in it. They may announce this during the planned press conference in Mobile World Congress, also this the first appearance of the company in this trade event.

The Windows variant of the flagship smartphone will have same hardware as Android variant of the smartphone. It will have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 processor, making it the most powerful Windows phone available in the market. Also, it will be equipped with 4GB of RAM, 5.2 inch Quad HD display, a huge 3000 mAh battery and 16GB/ 64GB internal storage. For the camera it will have 16-megapixel back camera and 8-megapixel in the front. A finger print scanner in the home button.

Still, it’s not yet confirm whether Xiaomi Mi5 Windows version will have the Microsoft’s feature like Continuum and Windows Hello. Both Microsoft and Xiaomi have team up once before, and again they might work together to make this happen.

Another report confirming that upcoming flagship smartphone of Xiaomi, the Mi5 will not have Quad HD (2560 X 1440) resolution display, instead it will have only a full HD (1080p) resolution display. According to them, Quad HD requires more power consumption.
