BlackBerry 10 New Update: Fixes Android Runtime App Uninstallation Bug



A latest update for BlackBerry 10 Android Runtime is now available that fixes a bug that caused by incomplete uninstallation of any Android apps.

BlackBerry released a new Android Runtime environment for Blackberry 10, which it will allowed the smartphones to run any Android Apps. This is before the release of the new BlackBerry Priv, which is a fully Android base smartphone.

This Android Runtime is an attempt by BlackBerry to make their user to use the Android Apps for their BlackBerry smartphone. Most of the Android apps did not work but on basic Android apps, like Instagram did work.

Last month, BlackBerry released a new software update for BlackBerry 10, which the version up to 10.3.2.2876. This latest update, yet again introduced another bug that stopped the BlackBerry 10 users preventing from uninstalling Android Apps in the smartphone. The icon of the app, would be disappear from the home screen upon removing but still the apps will be in the smartphone.
BlackBerry has just released another update to fix problem via the link. In order to install this, opening the link with the use of BlackBerry 10 via BlackBerry Browser. Keep in mind, the browser shouldn’t be open in desktop mode.

After complete installation of the latest update, just restart the smartphone. Then, you can completely remove any unwanted Android Apps. But, you don’t have any issue on the Android Runtime Environment, don’t install this.
