"Always On" Display Mode feature on LG G5; Officially Confirmed



In the couple of weeks ago, we heard a lot about LG’s upcoming flagship smartphone, the G5 on what could be the design look like, the hardware in it and the features to be added. A week ago, LG confirms that they will unveil the upcoming LG G5 on February 21st on MWC 2016 together with the other rival flagship smartphones.

In just few hours ago, LG revealed on of the features of the G5 called “ALWAYS ON” it is a display of this upcoming smartphone. The feature of the upcoming LG G5 will allow the user to see some notifications of the smartphone such missed calls, message and e-mails without opening the whole screen on of the smartphone.

This features has been around to some flagship smartphones, like the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, in Motorola it is called “Active Display and on the other hand Google Nexus called it “Ambient Display”.

In the image above, we can see that LG’s “Always On” feature shows the outline of the upcoming LG G5, that those rumors and leaks about this smartphone might be true or accurate.
According to the rumors, LG G5 will be different from its predecessor the LG G4, as this upcoming smartphone is expected to have a metal body, also offers a finger print sensor and dual-rear facing camera.


 With this new feature being revealed, LG fanatics will never disappointed during the unveiling of the LG G5 at MWC 2016. LG G5 will surely make some surprises in that event and could compete with other upcoming flagship smartphones.
