2016, maybe another year for the smartphone maker, because
2015 is a success for most of them, but not all of them. Form Apple’s iPhone 6s
to Samsung S6, top tech critics are on the heap on are the best smartphone that
are on sale on 2016.
Best “Phablet” Smartphone:
Samsung Galaxy Note 5
Being introduced last August 2015, according to TechRadar “Galaxy
Note 5 is best android smartphone with a large screen, a stylus and a camera.
A 5.7 inch Super AMOLED display consider to be best in the
market, with a resolution of 2560 X 1440, about 518 pixel per inch on the
screen. The color accuracy, contrast and brightness are outstanding, they point
out.
Being a “phablet” it is possible to interact with the screen
via stylus, sliding the screen from top to bottom, vice versa. The stylus is
fun, but small oddities like this is rewarding as it should be.
Although, the most disappointing that happen to Galaxy Note
5 is the removal of micro sd card slot and removable battery. But the Galaxy
Note 5 won many critics, and Samsung Note continues to be great phablet.
Best “Waterproof”
Smartphone: Sony Xperia Z3+
The Sony Xperia Z3+
remains one of the much-love waterproof
smartphone, boasting the specifications, a thinner body and a Android 5.0 than
its predecessor without a need for those obtrusive flaps to pull of the tricks.
According to many reviewers, this features alone made up for
the lack radically latest featured on todays smartphone. It uses the same 5.2
inch display, with a resolution of 1920 X 1080, also it has a sharp design, a
decent battery, is Sony’s slimmest handset to date.
Overall, it's the best looking phone in the Z
series so far," says Stuff.
Best “Eye-Catching”
Smartphone: LG G4
LG’s current flagship G4, it improves on the aesthetics of the
previous LG offerings with the eye-catching orange leather fascia. TechRadar
gives a warm praise, according to them “focuses on what everyone actually wants
out of a smartphone". Stuff reviewer’s is also a huge fan. “"The
camera is top notch, the screen brilliant and those extra 0.4ins of screen
space [compared with its predecessor, the G3] will be enough to convince a
bunch of buyers," according to the reviewer.
While CNET has reservation about the battery life and lack
of new features, it too also happy to recommend the phone. "Though it
feels too similar to last year's G3, the LG G4
is an excellent big-screen
smartphone that will appeal to budding photographers, and has old-school
features missing from rival flagships” according from CNET.
Best “Overall”
Smartphone: Apple iPhone 6s
Launched last September 2015, iPhone 6s
has a lot of new
cool features on its arsenal, especially the force-touch (3D touch), a upgraded
rear-facing camera, a upgraded front-facing camera and a much fast processor.
It may look similar to its predecessor, writes Macworld’s
Lewis Painter, but its 3D Touch will "change how you interact with your
iPhone".
Cnet calls that feature "a touch of the
future", while The Verge is unequivocal in saying the 6s is
"right now the best phone on the market".
If the 4.7 inch screen iPhone 6s is not enough, how about the
phablet version of it, the iPhone 6s plus with 5.5 inch display.
The iPhone 6s may be the best smartphone for sale today, but
in the later part of this year it will throw off buy its successor the iPhone 7,
means that iPhone 6s has only few months to be on the top.
